Birthday marketing ideas to enchant salon clients
Birthday marketing ideas to enchant salon clients
Are you making the most of your clients’ birthdays?
I suspect not.
So, I recognise, you’ve set your salon software program to automatically e mail birthday greetings. But can you actually say that is making the most of this freebie salon advertising possibility?
I don’t think so.
A customer’s birthday is a one time in a year marketing bonanza for hair and beauty salons, but blink and also you miss it. You get one opportunity every year so be organized.
Here’s how:
Wishing you a happy birthday
The slightest whiff of hardcore marketing or commerciality on my birthday is a whopping large flip-off.
What i am looking for is a personalized honest touch.
Some thing that proves you’re interested by me. Something thoughtful, that gives me a warm feeling and indicates you care. And that i don’t think a text or email well ticks the birthday field.
You text my appointment reminder. You e-mail me with offers and promotions. But on my birthday you want to WOW me, and a card dropping thru the letterbox is much more likely to hit the spot.
Birthday bonanza: a unique opportunity to market your salon
I recognize a card and stamp costs more. And it truly takes a chunk extra effort. But isn’t that the marketing factor?
After I open birthday card with its handwritten personal message from my stylist or therapist I suppose, “Ah how lovely. A person surely values my custom so much they have taken time of their stressful day to spend cash and effort on me.”
whilst i get a birthday e mail or textual content that's personalised (through laptop) with my call I simply suppose, “k, so I’ve got a salon discount.”
